The masterpiece
UTVA LASTA is a modern and complete aerobatic training aircraft with a piston engine, tandem seating arrangement, two hard points on the wings, and low acquisition and operating costs. Designed for elementary flight training, it replaces two or even three training aircraft during a training course.
The aerobatic engine and propeller, with an instant change in power delivery as required, differentiate the LASTA aircraft from its turboprop counterparts. Together with its excellent maneuverability characteristics, this aircraft is very safe and suitable for inexperienced pilots.
The fully digital cockpit with analog backup instruments and high redundancy has two displays (PFD and MFD) and engine and fuel monitoring instruments for each position, with individual throttle and joystick for the student and driving instructor.
